Measuring the impact of spotted wing drosophila in 2013 – Your help needed!

One of the key goals of the eFly SWD Working Group has been assess the impact of spotted wing drosophila in the region covered by the working group. We began the process of updating the impact statement we developed in 2012 at the most recent eFly SWD Working Group meeting, January 8-9, 2014 in Savannah, GA.  Prior to the start of the meeting, we circulated an impact assessment survey from December 19, 2013 through January 19, 2013.

We discussed the responses to that survey at the eFLy meeting and developed a more comprehensive tool, which we are now seeking your responses using.  We are also distributing a version of this survey at grower meetings.  If you’ve already filled out a hard copy survey form, thank you!

Thank you for your interest! The survey is now closed, and a results summary will be posted in March 2014.
